Bill Boerner graduated from Brookhaven High School in 1967; from Millsaps College with a BA in political science in 1971 and from the University Of Mississippi School Of Law in 1973. After law school, Bill worked for the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office, criminal division from 1973 to 1974, handling criminal appeals to the Mississippi Supreme Court, representing the State of Mississippi. He then worked for Mississippi Bar Legal Services from 1974 to 1975, staffing legal aid offices in Canton and Yazoo City.
Bill began a private practice of law in Brookhaven, Mississippi in 1975 and has practiced there ever since. He served as Municipal Judge for the city of Brookhaven for six years. He is a member of the Lincoln County Bar Association (having served as Secretary, Vice President and President), Mississippi Bar Association, American Bar Association, Mississippi Association for Justice, and Faith Presbyterian Church of Brookhaven where he served as Deacon. He is a member of Brookhaven Servitium Club, formerly Brookhaven Kiwanis Club, where he served as President and District Lt. Governor and the Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce, having served on the Board of Directors.
Bill has practiced as a successful trial lawyer in all Mississippi Courts for forty-three (43) years. He is married to Merrie Russell Boerner (44 years) and has three (3) children.
Brad Boerner graduated from Brookhaven High School in 1993, Millsaps College with a BA in comparative religious studies in 1997; and from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2000. After law school, he served as law clerk for the Hon. James E. Thomas of the Mississippi Court of Appeals for two (2) years, and then practiced for a prominent civil litigation defense firm in Jackson, Mississippi. In 2003, Brad returned home to work with his father. He is married to Lissa D. Boerner and has (2) children.
Brad is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association, Lincoln County Bar Association (serving as Secretary, Vice President and President) and Faith Presbyterian Church of Brookhaven. Brad is a member of the Brookhaven Servitium Club, formerly Brookhaven Kiwanis Club, where he has served as Secretary. Brad also serves as Municipal Judge for the City of Brookhaven, Judge of the Lincoln County Youth Court and he has served upon numerous civic boards and organizations.
Joey Norton graduated from Brookhaven High School in 2000, from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2004 with a degree in Industrial Engineering Technology, and from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2009, with a Certificate of emphasis in Criminal Law. Joey was licensed by the Mississippi Bar in 2009, and has practiced law full time since that time.
He is also a member of the Brookhaven Servitium Club, and a member of Faith Presbyterian Church in Brookhaven where he now serves as Deacon. Joey is married to Sara Summers Norton of Brookhaven, and they have one (1) child.
